in IL if a home is bought before you were married and now divorcing, does the escrow get split. We have refinanced the home after we were married. I need toknow if after the house sells the money that is lest over, am I entitled to it or do I need to wait and see if she gives any to me.

If both of you own the home, the house is "marital" property and each of you are likely entitled to some portion of the home. The situation that gets harder to determine is when one part owns a home pre-marriage and then the married couple lives in it and then a court needs to look at how things got paid, ect. A little more information would be helpful to give you proper advice.
