Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I got my divorce judgement and we have an MSA in mid 2011. The divorce was filed in California and since then I have moved to Illinois. My ex also does not reside in California.

I have attempted to communicate with my ex but am not getting any response from her. My questions are:

1. Is the MSA enforceable in Illinois?

2. Can I pursue legal options in Illinois or should I have to pursue them from California?

Register the judgment in Illinois, then move to enforce applicable portions.
