Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Divorce
We were ordered to go to mediation for a custody battle i want sole and he want joint hasn't seen child in 2 years. Child is severely disabled. He was granted visitation every monday for 3 hours and in 3 weeks he has seen the child for 16 mins total and didn't show up to mediation & didn't call the mediator back in a week after not showing up. Can he still be granted joint custody like this. We was standing in front of judge when we were told to go to mediation. What should i do.

He can be granted joint custody. In custody fights, you must be careful about representing yourself. Orders are made that are hard to undo. As to what you should do, listen to the judge and go to mediation.
