Divorce

I got served papers from my husband. I'm confused on exactly what this means. One paper says SUMMONS WITH WAITING PERIOD. And another says PRAECIPE FOR SUMMONS- DISSOULUTION. Are these actual divorce papers? and do i need a attorney to appear in court with me to respond? And what is this filing fee that is required?

the summons should have a petition attached to it. Those as the "divorce papers".

You could fax or email them to me and I could give you a better answer.

Generally you will need a lawyer to appear in court on your behalf
