Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Divorce

Hello! In my divorce it states that I am not allowed to live with another person unless married. My partner and I are expecting a baby. Is that still in affect if we are expecting a child.? Can we live together if a child is involved?

Re: Divorce

If your judgment for dissolution says you cannot live with someone unless you are married, then you have to go into court to have that modified. What you didn't say was that you have a child, or children, with your ex. The children are the reason for that clause. You could have big problems if you ignore that clause.
