Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
divorce
I was told if you live with the person you divorced after its final it makes your divorce papers null and void, is that true? Meaning not that the divorce isnt legal but the agreed upon terms will no longer hold up in court.

Absolutely NOT. Unless there is some attempt at fraud, you have nothing to worry about

Re: divorce
There are a lot of lawyers out there who never went to law school and passed a bar exam. If you want legal advice seek out a licensed lawyer, not a know nothing non-lawyer. Your divorce and property settlement cannot be changed because you still live with your ex.
