Divorce
My wife and I got married in Mexico in Oct of 2006 while on vacation, we are American citizens. How do we go about getting a divorce? Do we have go to Mexico to get it.

If you're in Illinois, one of you simply must be a resident of IL for at least 90 days prior to the filing of the divorce case. Are there kids or any substantial amount of property? If there are children you should likely file the case where they are. The potential issue with property would be that a court wouldn't have jurisdiction over say a home in Mexico.
