divorce

me and my wife cant get along periode and i'm leaving we have 2 kids. Is there any laws thats say i cant just leave before we get divorced legally

Hello. You are legally obligated to support your children, but the law does not require that you remain in the home. However, I suggests that you take steps to protect your parental rights. You may wish to file for legal separation and file the appropriate motions to insure that you see your children regularly and that you are able to call them regularly. In fact, more of my male clients are ending up with custody of their children. You may want to consider this, especially if one or both of your children are boys.
