Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am divorced and still live with my ex-husband.He wants me to move out but I have no where to go.He wants me to sign a quick claim deed.He says he just wants my name off the house in case something happens where someone could sue him because of me.If I do that can he have me kicked out of the house or can I stay in it until I have somewhere to go?

What does your divorce judgment say about ownership of the house? If your name is no longer on the house, your ex has every right to have you removed. You're best bet is to find someplace to go and the sooner the better.
