i have been divorced for 2 years, in my divorce papers my x is to pay for the house payment and utilities until the house sells. me and the 3 kids still live in the house, he moved out and remarried.
i waitress and on public aid to help pay the rest of the bills and take care of the 3 kids, he does not pay child support until the house sells.
he is taking me back to court and want me to give him 500.00 per month to help with the house payment now.
he makes almost 6 figures

And your question is??? Can it to that , yes. Will a judge modify the order, maybe ... It depends on the totality the circumstances. In this real estate market, people did not expect house to remain unsold for such long periods of time. There is no clear answer, other than that was his agreement and he should be stuck with it.
