divorced-ex out of job

divorced for almost 2years,house up for sale,we are to split the money on house,he just lost his job ,cut my child support payments in half,and now he doesn't know how much longer he can make mortgage payments,can i do something about this,i need the money he's been giving me i have 3 children? can i go back into court and try to get the house then i can sell it and do not need any thing else from him?he did state in the papers he pays the mortgage for 5-6years after divorced?
