Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
Drivers License Unjustly Suspended
After numerous failed attempts to have support modified after loss of job, ex's attorney had my drivers license suspended even though I do pay child support regualrly. Is that legal?

If your far enough in arrears, your license can be suspended. Think about your question for a moment. Would an attorney risk his license to commit a crime and have your drivers license suspended illegally? Of course not.

I do not understand. If you pay child support, is the Court saying you are in arrears?
