What is the emancipation age for illinois child support?

Depends.
1. Someone who admits paternity voluntarily is liable to 18 minimum;
2. In a divorce it will all depend on the decree, often through college; and
3. someone over the age of 16 may seek emancipation but that may not affect the parents' obligations.

Let's try it another way. You are obligated to pay support until a child attains 18 years of age, unless that child has not graduated from high school, in which case support continues until the child the first to happen of the child graduating or reaches 19 years of age
