Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am an employee at a corporate daycare. Wednesday I am going to court for sole custody of my son. He is a student at the same daycare, though a different location that the one I work at. I had to subpeona 3 of his teachers to testify on his behalf. The center director is trying to get the teachers out of it. Can she do that? Also because I am an employee, will I be repremanded?
