Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
endangering minor childrens welfare
a court case that has been going on since aug. 98' the court has failed to protect four minor children from being around and with their mother and stepfather after being named by the children for physical, sexual, mental, and emotional abuse. this has been confirmed by pediatrician and psychologists. the children has testified that the mother forced the children to lie in court stating that the stepfather did not molest or abuse the children as did the mother did not. i have three years of evidence that is available and witnesses willing to testify as to the stepfathers past sexual misconduct. DCFS, police, and court personell continue to allow visitation and for the children to live with the mother and stepfather without any protection plans in place. how do i help protect my children from further abuse or injury.

Re: endangering minor childrens welfare
An emergency petition for change of
custody should be filed. The peti-
tion should set forth the reasons why
the matter should be considered an
emergency and should outline, in
detail all facts that you believe
are dangerous to the health, safety
and welfare of your children. It
would help if you had witnesses who
are willing to come to court to
testify.
