enforcing the divorce settlement

My divorce was final in July. The settlement awards a GMC truck and a horse trailer to me. Both items were purchased during the marriage with marital assets but he registered them in his name only. To this date he has ignored all commincation in regards to producing the titles signed over to me. What legal recourse do I have in forcing him to comply? What steps do I have to follow? I need to act quickly as plates are expired and I need to use them. Also, I am worried about being fined for not having them insured.

You should have your lawyer file a "rule to show cause why he should not be held in contempt." Also, ask for attorney's fees.

Without having had a chance to review your Marital Settlement Agreement, it appears that you would need to file a Petition for Rule to Show Cause to hold your exhusband in contempt of court for not following a court order (i.e. not transfering GMC truck and trail to you).
