Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Ethics

I filed for divorce in 1999. I was granted a divorce on grounds only in 2000. My ex husbands attorney dropped him in 2002. my lawyer was going to file for a default at the time that my ex's attorney dropped him so the default was stopped. it is now 2005 and the papers are still sitting on my lawyer's desk. He said that he had forgotten about it. That was 4 weeks ago. i have called every week to see if he has filed them and he says that he hasn't gotten to it. Is this against any ethical practices? Is there anything that I can do to get the process moving?
