Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

What can I do when my ex-husband refuses to pay his court ordered spousal support? He is laid off right now, and the state the divorce was in won't garnish unemplyment. Any options available to me?

If he is laid off how do you propose he pay it. If the state you were divorced in is not Illinois, you need to talk to an atty in that state. If it is IL then you have a judgment for the amount of the money due. enforce it as you would any other judgment.
