Check your divorce decree. If it's in there then you can get the decree enforced. If it's not, you may be able to get the decree modified to reflect what the two of you have done without there being a written direction. But why all of a sudden? Depending on the fees, going to court could be time consuming and costly, and there's no guaranty a court would modify the decree if it's not already in it. But since you haven't given us a reason, what is going on that there's been this change of heart? I would recommend asking until you get an answer on the basis that you might have to consider taking him to court and would rather he simply tell you what's up because if he's in a tight spot pushing things may not help, and the better thing may be to agree that he should cover some other items.... But remember the more you both stray from the terms of the decree, whatever they may be, the more difficult it may be to straighten things out later to see who paid for what and who owes whom what..... And as much as you might like to tell your son that his father is not helping out anymore in this regard, I wouldn't recommend doing so.
