Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Ex-wife attacking Stepchildren

I am looking for advise on how to handle a major situation. I have been raising 2 children on my own for over 10 years. I recently remarried 2 years ago. to a man with visitation to his 2 children. Since then my oldest daughter has been accused of every type of abuse to his child from his ex imaginable. Although we now for a fact all accusations are not true, and she is trying to cause problems between me and my husband, I will not tolerate my children be subject to this. Is there any legal recourse, since I know taking matters into my own hands wont help. But I am a mother bear and will not tolerate my children used as a token in her sick mind games I need my children protected What legal ways can I protect my children.

If they are just wild accusations, and no wrongful punishment is coming to the accused child, what can you sue for? There are no monetary damages, and it will be hard to show that the mother is completely making it all up, even if she is. And at the end of the day, who cares what some bitter old woman is saying (as long as protective services knows she is crazy)
