If a man gets married to a woman and she has a child while they are still married she has a child but the child is not the husbands. Is he leagly responsible for that child?

Il Law in this area is tricky. The husband is presumed to be the father and will have to pay support until he goes to court and its determined he is not the father. If the man signs a Voluntary Acknowledgment of Paternity, he is liable for child support, EVEN IF HE IS NOT THE FATHER. Such a document is not often used for married couples. It is assumed that a child of the marriage is a child of the husband and wife.

You can prove otherwise and then the husband would not be liable.
