Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Family resides in St. Clair County, IL. Wife found out husband was having an affair, and shortly after, learned that he had lost the family home due to mismanagement of money. Each got their own apartment. After 8 months, they reconciled for the children's sake. Situation has not improved and wife moved out again, since the husband's apartment was within children's school district. He is now making it difficult for her to see her children. Can he accuse her of abandonment and attempt to get full custody and child support if she does not see children daily? She makes more money than he does.
