Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I am the father of a child who is living Wstseka Il, the mother served me with an adoption summons and a request to have his name changed. I don't want to give up custody or allow this to happen. What can and should I do? Please Help!

You will either need to show in person or retain an attorney. If you don't show, it becomes an uncontested cause - and you don't get to appeal that. Contact a family law attorney if you're serious about contesting this.
