If the father to my child is requesting visitation rights what can i do to prevent him? and i need to know how to do it myself without hiring an attorny?

He is entitled to visitation under the law, see 750 ILCS 5/607. Retaining an attorney is a personal choice - I wish you the best of luck.
A parent has legal obligations to support children and care for children, and a right of visitation. Unless the father has personal issues, criminal issues, or other issues conflicting with parental rights, you have limited legal procedures to prevent his visitation if he pursues such visitation. You should discuss the specifics with a family help agency, legal aid agency, pro bono family lawyer, or, if you don't want to hire an attorney, you must handle the matter yourself.
