Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My father is currently going through a divorce. The house that he has was bought under my uncle's name due to my father's credit being affected by foreclosure from a previous home. My question is if the house is sold his would my father have to split the money from the sale even thougt the house is under my uncle's name?
