Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My father worked for the old CB&Q railroad for almost 20 years,earning a pension.My mother and him divorced in 1974 after 25 years of marriage.isn't she eligible for his pension,altho he remarried.My father died in 2002.

ERISA did not exist in 1974. Pensions were not divided. She is not entitled to anything.
