Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Father's Will

My father passed away about 7 years ago. I did not find out about his death immediately. I was told he changed his will and excluded me. He married before he died and his wife claimed he left everything to her. How can I obtain a copy of the will in order to determine if this is true?

Re: Father's Will

If your father had a Will then the executor of the estate should have filed the Will with the Clerk of the County where your dad resided. You should be able to go the the clerks office and see if a Will was filed and if so you can obtain a copy.
