My fiance and i broke up

i bought her a dog for 800 dollars. she did paid for some of the shoots. who would the dog belong to. i would love custody of the dog. any help?

I don't know enough about dog ownership...does the dog have adoption papers? If so who's name is it in? Assuming it's in your fiance's name it's hers. A gift gives ownership to the recipient period.
