Hi my fiance has a court date for

back child support. He just got hospitalized so he can't make out to court date what should we do

Petition for a continuance, it'll buy him a few weeks. Ultimately he'll have to pay the piper though. If he wants to avoid jail, he'll need a lawyer - no getting around it.
