Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I want to file for divorce. We have only been married for 16 months. We have no property or children. He has only made $8,000 in 2010. I got all the paperwork online but when I got to the question about...Do I have a pension/retirement fund?...(I do but it only has $100 in it) when I click yes it says that I need to hire a lawyer to proced with the divorce...So my question is Do I really have to hire a lawyer or can I still represent myself and deal with that measly $100 fund at the court date? I mean if he really needs that $100 I will gladly hand it over to him just to get him out of my life.

You can not file a joint simplified divorce, but you can do a pro se divorce. No judge is going to do anything with a $100 pension.
