Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Where to file?

My son and I moved from WA to IL recently, with the concent of my husband-son's father. He wants to file, but hasn't. I'd like to know if it is better to file in IL or WA since we have a permanent residence in IL for 3 months now and husband has not yet filed.
