Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I filed a motion for child support modification and asked the court to have my ex-husband show proof of income, but his lawyers never responded to my motion. Now what can I do?

Unless you're willing to get a lawyer, you're on your own. Why? Because the proper remedy is to have a subpoena served - however pro se people do not have subpoena power (But attorney's do).
Because you lack the ability to subpoena his bank and income records, you will have to pay the sheriff and any applicable witnesses hundreds of dollars in statutory fees to get your documents. That's why the other attorney is ignoring you, he's letting you hang yourself with improper filings.
At least talk to an attorney. Some consults are free, and it'll prevent you from torpedoing your case any further.
