Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have filed a motion to modify visitation, without a lawyer, his lawyer responded and also filed a motion to continue, can I file a response to the motion to continue?

You can but your wasting your time. The court will allow the lawyer at least one continuance to investigate your claims and to prepare his case. Better that you agree to a reasonable continuance.
