Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Filing A Complaint

My fiance got divorced in 2002. His ex-wife works at the county building where we live. She's been ''messing with'' their paperwork on their divorce. Coinsidentally, the visitation form he filled out is missing but he never kept the paperwork to prove that it was entered in their divorce. Current paperwork is coming up missing and his child support amounts are all wrong. i was wondering if we could file a complaint or how should I go about doing this?

Re: Filing A Complaint

Hello. I suggests that you go straight to the

office of the Clerk of the Court where you live

and make a formal report and complaint. In Cook

County, Illinois tampering with or removing

documents for an unauthorized purpose is a Class

4 felony. I will be happy to answer any additional questions.
