Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My finacee had an affair on his first wife that produced two children. He was unaware that the children were his until Oct 2009...they were born in 2005 and 2007. She is seeking child support/back support. However, her husband's name is on all legal documents including the birth certificate. They want her husband to appear as the father and my fiancee to just pay support. Can he fight this?

The mother can demand and get a DNA test and if he is the father, then he will have to pay child support. He will also have the legal right to see the child, have his name of the birth cert., ect.
