Forgiveness Debt

Am I responsible for the taxes of forgiveness debt if my ex husband is charged taxes as a result of this. Our divorce agreement reflects that I am responsible for 1/2 of joint debt

If your half responsible then you are half responsible. Not sure I get this question. From the way you word it, its pretty clear you have to pay.
