Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

We found out that my husbands son has to get braces. His ex wife refuses to add our name at the ortho office so that we can set up payment arrangements with them. His divorce papers do not specify that we have to help with dental, it states we have to pay 1/2 of medical bills. Per his ex wife dental is included under medical. Is that correct? Are we responsible for dental bills? If we are, is there anyway we can set up arrangements without her adding us to his account. We do not want to give her money directly.

Contact the dentist, send him a copy of the pages of the divorce and ask him to send you bills. She may be hiding insurance coverage from you.
