Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Fraudulant letter regarding minor child

My daughter's in-law's had a lawyer draft a letter to the school district stating that the six year old granddaughter lived with them for 5 days a week, so they could get her into a school that the mother-inlaw works for, same school district, different boundries. What can my daughter do about the letter?

Re: Fraudulant letter regarding minor child

Your daughter should personally go to the school

and explain that the contents of the letter are

false. She should also write a formal letter

explaining that the letter from her in-laws is

false. The school should not have relied upon a

letter from grandparents. Of course I do not have all of the facts, but based upon the information provided, this is what I suggests.

Will be happy to answer any related questions.
