Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My friend is in the middle of divorce proceedings. They have a son, who turned one in May. She is wanting to collect back child support for July through present. There is not currently any order for child support, and he was unemployed in that time frame. Will he be required to back pay? Cause of the divorce is her infidelity, and he lived with son until he was approximately 3 months old. She has not allowed any visitation of any kind.

She is only entitle to support from the date she files a Petition for Support. If she has not done so, she is not entitled to any retroactive support.
