Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My friend recieved and Alias Summons. At the bottom of Summons it states. "This Communication is from a Debt Collector. Should he still appear in court and file and a written appearance?

A good rule of thumb is to always respond to any Summons you receive.

The writing on the bottom is required under federal law and odes not effect the effect of the summons. If your friend does not respond it is likely that a defauklt judgment will be entered against him or her.
