Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

i have a friend who gets supervised visitations with his sons, because of an incident with a third party, and now he is being told he should not have had unsupervised visitation with his daughter who was never a part of the incident and is from an entirely different relationship... can they do this? it seems extreme since his daughters mother has no problem with it

My question is, "What business is it of your?" Secondly, you don't say why the visitations which his son are supervised. Thirdly, you don't say who "they" are. For all I know, your "friend" is a sexual predator and the "third party" was a minor.

Tell your friend, I said he should talk to his own lawyer and tell you to butt out.
