Garnishment of wages

I was divorced in 2001. My ex was ordered to pay on a loan that we used my mobile home as collatral for. He moved to Fl and filed bankruptcy. Can I garnish his wages and put a lien on his home?

Depends on what chapter of bankruptcy applies (Chapter 7 or 13). If its a Chapter 7, your debt should survive bankruptcy and you will be able to collect the same as you as you could before. If its a Chapter 13, the debt should be part of the Bankruptcy debt repayment plan.

In either case, you will need a Court order allowing you to garnish wages or put a lien on your ex's home.
