Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois
I gave my ex-husband (non-custodial parent) extra time for his confirmation a couple Sunday's ago. In exchange I made up a day to equal that time during a weekday visitation visit. He says that he didn't agree to the switch and is threatening to take me to court or mediation if I don't make up his day. I always switch days for him or give him extra time. He is just likes to argue and bully me if he doesn't get his way. Also, he emailed me something that I consider a threat. He wrote, "You got Mother's Day back, don't push it." Is it a threat? He has a lot of anger issues verbally. Constantly harassing me and bullying me to get his way. I just need this to stop because he is stressing me out.

You really need to get a post-decree attorney involved who can help you manage this situation. Your ex- might even wind up liable for the attorney fees. But you are the front line defense for your child and this bullying will be an unnecessary stress. At least he's stupid enough to put things in writing.
