GI bill and child support

My boyfriend is currently receiving the GI bill to attend school. He is using this strictly for school and living expenses. Is this military benefit considered income for child support? The GI bill benefit does vary from semester to semester depending on the credit hours he is taking.

I would say yes, because he is receiving imputed income and he did not have to declare it when he paid into the GI Bill.
