Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

My girl friend and I are separated from our spouses for over 6 months now but neither one of us is divorced yet. Currently my girl friend is 3 months pregnant with my child and stumbled upon an Illinois law that state any child conceived during the marriage is the legal responsibility of the spouse. Now all three of us know the child isn't his and that he's just doing this to give us a hard time. My girl friend doesn't want her spouse to have anything to do with the child. Is there anything i do legally that would allow me to keep my child?
