Re: Grandparent visitation rights

Visitation may be granted if either the parents are not cohabiting on a permanent or indefinite basis, one of the parents has been absent from the martial residence for over one month without the other spouse knowing his /her whereabouts, one of the parents is deceased, one of the parents joins in the petition with the grandparents or great-grandparents, or if a sibling is in state custody.
