grandparents &sibling visitation rights

our daughter & son in law are seperated. our grandaughter is in foster care with paternal grandparents. do the maternal grandparents & sibling sister have rights of visitation ?

Hello. Technically, under the circumstances which you have described, maternal grandparents

do not have a right to visitation, in my opinion.

However, I am of the opinion that the matter should be brought to court and that the maternal

grandparents should then seek visitation. This

will be a very technical court process. I hope

it in the child's best interest to see his/her

maternal grandparents on a regular basis.
