Re: grandparents visitation

Based on the information provided, you should be able to restrict any contact or visitation with the grandparents. You are advised to contact the Illinois Dept of Children and Family Services. It appears you may have already had contact with this agency. If you have reason to believe the grandparents are a threat to the welfare of the children, you should be able to obtain a restraining order, restricting their visitation privileges. A family law attorney should be able to advise you based on your individual situation but it appears this option hasn't worked. The grandparents do not have automatic rights to visit the children except with your consent; let them know that if they want visitation privileges, they must cooperate with you.
