Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have guardianship of my 11 yr old granddaughter, my daughter gave me gaurdianship in 01 and no father was notified because she did not know who the father was, in 07 her ex was found to be the father and now he wants to take my guardianship and take custody, can he do that?
