Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I was on H4 visa,my husband was abusive so filed for divorce in Bloomigton court Illinois on 17th May 2013.I had to come back to India in Dec. 2013 as my mother had heart attack & was hospitalized.Our lawers werw trying for out of court settlement.I am unable to go back toUS due to financial problem.I want to withdraw the case from Bloomigton court & file a case in India.Now my question is,to whoom I should adress the application for withdrawl?

Unless your husband lived with you in India, a court in India would lack jurisdiction over your husband to divide assets. If your husband has filed the case or a counter-petition, your case can not be withdrawn on your motion.
